I’m Robert Wade, the founder of the Wade Media Research Group and the lead tester here at Paw Gear Review.

My background in technical gear research (founding sites like Cookware Scout and Housewares Review) taught me one vital lesson: Material integrity matters most when lives are on the line. When I realized how much "tacticool" dog gear was actually made of inferior nylon and plastic clips that snap under pressure, I decided to apply my lab-testing background to the pet industry.
